Site Manager – Utility-Scale Solar & BESS Projects

Location: Sicily, Italy

Salary: €65,000 - €75,000 + Benefits

Viridis Talent is supporting a growing European EPC contractor in the appointment of an experienced Site Manager to oversee the construction of utility-scale Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage (BESS) projects across Sicily.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced construction professional looking to join a business with a strong pipeline of renewable energy projects.

The Role

You will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily site operations.
• Coordinate subcontractors and construction teams.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental standards.
• Monitor construction progress against programme.
• Liaise with project management, engineering and client teams.
• Resolve site issues quickly and effectively.
• Maintain high standards of quality throughout construction.

Requirements

• Previous experience managing utility-scale Solar PV or BESS construction projects.
• Strong site management and leadership experience.
• Good understanding of EPC project delivery.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Fluent Italian.
• Willingness to work on-site in Sicily.
